The day of the course
You must go to Horizon 6 place Lucien Grégoire in Millau. Right next to Place Foch.
Consider parking your vehicle in a free parking lot. You can use the large free parking lot at La Grave, located 300 m from our School.
My course
From the 1st day, you must present us your medical certificate of no contraindication to the practice of paragliding.
Insurance
Aviation Civil Liability insurance is compulsory. Via the intranet of the French Federation of Free Flight, you can take out insurance:
The FFVL offers you to choose from 3 license formulas:
- 9-day course at € 33.50 (for 1 course)
- Activity at 53 € (Pupil in the calendar year)
- Licensed first from € 63.50 (Pupil and future pilot outside school).
Be careful to fill in the name of Horizon Millau N ° 28908 in the "Club and / or School" tab
Main practice: understand the paragliding activity.
Equipment
Simply good sports shoes, such as sneakers, are recommended and of course sports clothing adapted to the season, in summer, prefer pants rather than shorts.
For advanced flight exercises, a pair of (light) gloves is recommended.
Bring a bottle, water bottle and sweet snack if needed.

Since 1996, our School has been selling complete equipment, free flight accessories ... new or used.
You are considering purchasing a pack, do not hesitate to ask us to try out equipment during your internship.
How to pay?
At the end of the course, you pay for all the sessions performed. We will either return your deposit check (if paid) or deduct it if transferred to our bank account. We accept the following regulations:
Video Course
During your internship, and for your safety, we do not recommend taking a camera in flight. It is important to be 100% focused.
Exceptionally, you can ask a companion or a student to film you from the landing area, for example.
No. This choice is up to the instructors. They evaluate the weather conditions of the day, the direction and the force of the wind, hour by hour.
Based on these data, one of the 4 flight sites is chosen.
Your equipment must comply with standards, in good condition and overhauled by a sailmaker's inspection workshop with a parachute folded for less than a year (certificate to be presented)
We can decide not to use it if we deem your equipment unsuitable or obsolete (a complete pack is then provided to you).
We can proceed on site to the folding of your rescue if not carried out.
A deterioration of the weather conditions can lead to the cancellation of a session or the course, at the last moment
You may be offered a postponement. Otherwise the unrealized session is deducted from the overall price of the training course.

We take care of transportation with our Horizon shuttle to reach the flight sites.
Case by case: Some trainees wish to follow us with their vehicle. From experience and for better organization, we favored our shuttle.
Your friends or your family wish to see you evolve in internship? We ask them to be discreet to avoid devolution during work sessions.
